In 2018, the juggernaut that was the Huge Convention reached the next level. Here is the official 2018 review and wrap up!

The Location:

This year the Huge Convention moved to the Atlanta Marriott Marquis in Atlanta, Georgia. Some attendees drove in while others flew into the Atlanta (ATL) Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport from all over the world. The Atlanta Marriott is an impressive 53 story building – one of the defining features of it is the large atrium. The atrium spans the entire height of the building and has two vertical chambers divided by elevator shafts and bridges. It had more than enough room for this year’s 800+ attendees, tradeshow and classes. The Atlanta Marriott was one of our most impressive venues up to date.

The venue is located right in the heart of downtown Atlanta, so there was a limitless amount of things to do in the area. Dozens of shops and boutiques, dining destinations, and fun for attendees, many of whom bring their families and make a vacation out of the event. Many of the city’s best sights and spots were well within walking distance or a short MARTA ride away.

The Event:

This year marked the 6th annual Huge Convention. Year after year, this continues to be the premier business event for window cleaners and pressure washers. We find that attendees come for different reasons. Some come for the huge tradeshow to see their favorite vendors and new equipment. Others come for the classes and speakers. We only allow the best and brightest to speak at these events, there is no fluff. The education you receive is mind-blowing and will fast forward your business into hyperdrive. A large amount of people come for the networking and general comradery. Imagine being in a room filled with business owners like yourself that know the successes and struggles of owning a business. It’s an amazing thing.

The Attendees:

This year attendees came from all over the world – the USA, Europe, Australia, you name it. This year we welcomed OVER 800 convention attendees in Atlanta, the biggest turn out yet! Convention attendees are business owners that truly care about growing and building the best business possible. The Convention is meant to give you the tools to shave years and untold dollars off your learning curve by learning how to run an efficient, profitable business.

The Tradeshow:

This year’s Tradeshow was truly something. Attendees roamed the tradeshow floor and used this time to shop and learn about products and services or meet with their favorite vendors. There were demos, giveaways and tons of fun! Each year the tradeshow features a mix of window cleaning and pressure washing suppliers, software and other products and services relevant to the industry. This year’s lineup featured 50+ vendors.

There were tons of unique software companies such as Broadly, WorkWave Service, Jobber, Jills Office, Housecall PRO, ResponsiBid, NiceJob and more! The day before was actually the first annual Service Software Summit which featured 24 informative talks from some of the industries best software. Every speaker packed over an hour of content into just 17 minutes of presentation time. It was a highly informative and successful event!

The Response:

The reaction from 2018 attendees was phenomenal! Some attendees came for the classes, other came for the HUGE tradeshow or networking opportunities – either way they left MOTIVATED and INSPIRED. We had many attendees purchase tickets for the 2019 event before they even left Atlanta. But don’t just take our word for it…below are some video testimonials from folks who were happy to share their experience!

Next year’s show:

The 2019 Huge Convention is already underway! It will be held August 8th & 9th 2019 at the Branson Convention Center, in Branson MO. There are two airports providing flights in and out of the area. Plus, Branson’s central location in the heart of the Midwest makes driving here simple for Huge Convention attendees. Fun fact: Branson is only a day’s drive for one-third of Americans.

As usual, the biggest industry show will sell out (much like this year) so we HIGHLY suggest getting tickets ahead of time and booking your hotel room. Right now we have SUPER Early Bird Tickets on sale for the 2019 event. Register now so you don’t have to stress later. You can register below. We hope to see you there!
